We are part of Toastmasters International, a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations. Headquartered in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, the organization’s membership exceeds 292,000 in more than 14,350 clubs in 122 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people of all backgrounds become more confident in front of an audience.

Club Mission: We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

Member's Pledge: "We, the members of the Kapolei Toastmasters Club, pledge to support you through positive, helpful evaluations, to maintain a friendly, supportive atmosphere, to give you opportunities to help others, and to make your Toastmasters membership a rewarding and fulfilling experience."  
Each member also pledges:
    to attend meetings regularly, 
    to prepare all speech and leadership projects to the best of their ability, 
    to prepare for and fulfill meeting assignments, 
    to provide fellow members with helpful, constructive evaluations, 
    to help the club maintain the positive, friendly environment necessary for all members to learn and grow, 
    to serve as an officer when called upon to do so, 
    to treat fellow members and guests with respect and courtesy, 
    to bring guests to club meetings, 
    to adhere to guidelines and rules for all Toastmasters education and recognition programs, and 
    to maintain honest and highly ethical standards during the conduct of all Toastmasters activities.

Kapolei Toastmasters Club Awards: Chartered in 2008, Kapolei Toastmasters has won the President's Distinguished Club Award each year since 2010.  This significant accomplishment means our leaders and members have consistently worked together to meet 9 out of 10 education, membership, training, and administration goals.
